Overview of qualification
The Certificate IV in Disability Work provides participants with the competencies required to work effectively in a range of roles in the Community Service Sector. This qualification provides comprehensive knowledge of the nature of the Community Services Sector, working with people with a disability, legislation and the provision of services in Australia.

CHCOHS401A Implement and monitor OHS policies and procedures for a workplace
CHCCS405A Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers
CHCAD1C Advocate for clients
CHCDIS7B Design and adapt surroundings to group requirements
CHCAD2C Support the interests, rights and needs of clients within duty of care requirements
CHCADMIN5C Work within the administration protocols of the organisation
Course Duration
In general students complete this qualification within 1 year. Timetables can be developed to suit individuals and organisational requirements
